"A brilliant, luminous story of first love, family, loss, and betrayal for fans of John Green, David Levithan, and Rainbow Rowell."

Goodreads Synopsis: Jude and her twin brother, Noah, are incredibly close. At thirteen, isolated Noah draws constantly and is falling in love with the charismatic boy next door, while daredevil Jude cliff-dives and wears red-red lipstick and does the talking for both of them. But three years later, Jude and Noah are barely speaking. Something has happened to wreck the twins in different and dramatic ways . . . until Jude meets a cocky, broken, beautiful boy, as well as someone else—an even more unpredictable new force in her life. The early years are Noah's story to tell. The later years are Jude's. What the twins don't realize is that they each have only half the story, and if they could just find their way back to one another, they’d have a chance to remake their world.

My review: I LOVED this book! This is the first book I've read by Jandy Nelson and will not be my last! This book is told from the duel point of views of twins Jude and Noah who have had extremely difficult childhoods. They both have secrets and as you read the book everything unravels and comes together beautifully. This book is so unique in the way it's told. Jude's point of view is 16 and Noah's is 13-14 and I think that just made the story have so much more depth. It also showed how talented Jandy Nelson is, being able to so amazingly write from such different ages and still make the story compelling. Just all around amazing characters and plot.

I must say though, BEST ENDING I'VE READ IN SOOOO LONG!! It just came together so beautifully and perfect and just ahhhh, so amazing! This book broke my heart and put it back together again better than ever. I highly recommend this book to anyone, not just YA lovers, because it's that good!
